The Work of Remaining
What drew me out of that familiar shadow narrative was the even sweeter voice of Jesus, calling me to abide in him and rest in an identity found in him before bearing fruit.

The microphone had truly been placed in the hands of the next generation, allowing them to speak, think, and respond for themselves.
The gathering brought not only an enormous amount of content, but also an unusually high level of personal connection—from reuniting with friends I had not seen for years to meeting new ministry partners.
Learning to receive one another amid our differences while holding fast to truth may be a discipline the entire Chinese church must continue to practice.
What was most noteworthy about this congress was not only what it said, but also how it was experimenting with new ways to speak, lead, communicate, and understand the next generation.
When people who have long been studying, teaching, pastoring, and serving in different contexts finally sit in the same room, what becomes visible?
The Chinese church is gradually moving from numerical breadth to intellectual maturity—from movement-driven growth to the building of institutions and a knowledge tradition.
God is not confined to church walls. He meets us in the world’s wounded places.
Mission is not a straight line—it’s a web. And in today’s globalized world, where people are constantly moving across borders and cultures, Chinese Christians have a unique part to play.
If we truly believe that diaspora is God’s mission strategy for this era, then no generation should be missing, no language should be diminished, and no one’s sense of belonging should be sacrificed.
God is actively working among his people throughout East Asia in ways that may be surprising to those of us in the West or may appear hidden.
