Forward Together
We hope you have enjoyed our Forward Together series over the last three months, focusing on the history, legacy, and future of ChinaSource as we continue to be both a platform and bridge to the global church by serving alongside Chinese Christians in the mainland and diaspora in this changing era. Through stories, reflections, and voices shaped by the purposes of God through ChinaSource, we have looked back with gratitude and forward with a renewed vision—exploring how best to remain faithful, collaborative, and fruitful in the years ahead.
In doing so, we have been blessed by the encouragement of some close ChinaSource friends and partners:
John Swem, in his February 6 article entitled Activating Prayer for China, wrote:
“We could not be more excited about the priority given by ChinaSource to Activating Prayer in this campaign. We have been blessed to be one of ChinaSource’s many partners in providing resources in English and Chinese via the web page and social media. We join in longing for the outcome of a ‘global movement of intercessors lifting up China with love and faith.’”
Andy Pearce, on March 3, in his article, A Statue That Connected Hearts, wrote:
“As I look back now, I realize that…moments of connection—between people, places, and stories—don’t happen by accident. They are nurtured, protected, and sustained by communities that choose to listen, to remember, and to walk together alongside others with patience and care.
ChinaSource has been one of those communities for me over the years. As it enters this next season, my hope is that more readers will find their own place within this shared journey—whether through prayer, presence, or practical support—so that these heart connections can continue to form, deepen, and bear fruit for the generations to come.“
Kevin Xiyi Yao, in his March 16 article, A Generational Shift in Chinese Church Leadership, wrote:
“The younger generation of Chinese theologians and Christian thinkers are gifts from God to the Chinese church… If we care about the future of the Chinese church, we should be very intentional in caring about this group—praying for them and walking alongside them. Over the past several decades, ChinaSource has demonstrated such intentionality. It is no wonder why ChinaSource is one of the most trusted platforms among young Chinese intellectuals. I am confident that ChinaSource will continue to play a critical role in facilitating conversations and synergy between the Chinese church—particularly its future intellectual leaders—and the global church in the decades to come.“
Jerry An, called us to a deeper understanding of what it means to partner together on April 6, in his article entitled A Friend Loves at All Times: And a Brother Is Born for Adversity. He wrote:
“When we stop treating trust and unspoken understanding as givens and instead choose again and again to love at all times, to endure adversity together, and to place our shared journey within the finished work of Christ—only then can partnerships be sustained amid tensions and change. Only then can they continue, mature, and stand… I have come to see that ChinaSource is not only highly professional and resourceful but also marked by something deeper—the spiritual posture of its team. Their commitment and diligence in ministry, their humility and lack of self-interest in Partnership, and their willingness to remain in dialogue amid tension—these are qualities I hope to see in myself and in the team I serve. They are also qualities I hope others can see in us. I believe this is the true foundation of our partnership—and the reason we can continue walking together into the future.“
Catalyzing Partnerships
You can see why it is a joy and privilege to partner in friendship and camaraderie for the glory of Jesus Christ and the advance of the gospel and his kingdom with dear friends like these and many others—over 100 kingdom partners to date.
Through the years, the Lord has graced ChinaSource as a catalytic facilitator of partnerships that are making a transformational difference in the lives of Chinese Christians in the mainland and around the world.
Partnership is not built on shared vision alone. It is sustained by a commitment to keep showing up with grace, humility, and perseverance, in community with others who share the same calling. There is a peace, power, and assurance that comes from pursuing his purposes in close fellowship with his people.
We warmly welcome you to partner with us to join a global movement shaping the future of Chinese Christianity. Together, we can support emerging leaders, deepen cross-cultural understanding, and build a foundation of prayer, insight, and collaboration that will glorify God into eternity.

ChinaSource Connect: Gathering for Prayer, Insight, and Unity
At a time of significant transition for the church in China, the need for deeper understanding, meaningful connection, and informed prayer continues to grow. As leadership shifts and new generations navigate complex cultural and spiritual realities, both within China and across the global diaspora, the global church has an opportunity to engage with greater clarity and purpose.
ChinaSource Connect is a virtual gathering created to meet this moment.
This event will offer timely updates on the church in China along with insight into how ChinaSource is responding through prayer, global connection, and strategic collaboration.
More than an informational event, ChinaSource Connect is an invitation to listen, learn, and pray together. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in guided prayer and join optional breakout rooms for discussion, fellowship, and shared reflection.
In a rapidly changing era, gatherings like this help strengthen unity across cultures and equip believers to walk alongside the church in China with wisdom, humility, and resilient faith.
We invite you to join us.
