Chinese Christianity is entering a defining season. Leadership is passing to a new generation. Communities across the global diaspora are growing and navigating questions of identity and faith. At the same time, the environment within China continues to shift, bringing both challenges and new opportunities for the church.
In moments like this, the global body of Christ has an important role to play. Yet meaningful engagement requires more than awareness. It calls for deeper understanding, trusted relationships, and prayer rooted in real context.
ChinaSource Connect is an invitation into that space.
Taking place on Thursday, April 30 at 7:00 PM (Central Time), this virtual gathering is designed to strengthen the global church’s understanding of and connection to the church in China. Through shared insight, guided prayer, and interactive conversation, participants will have the opportunity to engage more thoughtfully with what God is doing in and through Chinese believers in this new era.
This gathering is also a time of celebration. We are grateful for the community of friends, partners, and supporters who have walked alongside ChinaSource over the years, including through ChinaSource’s Renewed Vision capital campaign. Your prayer, encouragement, and investment have helped make this work possible. ChinaSource Connect is an opportunity to come together, celebrate what God has done, and look ahead to what is still to come.
During this event, we will provide timely updates on the current realities facing the church in China and share how ChinaSource is responding in this new season. From activating informed prayer to connecting believers across cultures, amplifying Chinese Christian voices, and catalyzing strategic partnerships, these efforts are all aimed at equipping the church for faithful presence in a rapidly changing world.
More than an update, this is a space to listen, to learn, and to pray together.
Participants will be invited into guided prayer shaped by current realities and trusted perspectives. Following the main session, optional breakout rooms will provide space for deeper discussion, fellowship, and shared reflection with others who carry a similar burden and hope for the church in China.
As Chinese Christianity navigates one of the most significant periods of transition in its modern history, the need for unity, clarity, and resilient faith continues to grow. The global church has a unique opportunity to walk alongside Chinese believers with humility and intentionality.
